FREE TALK: Dealing Positively with Pain

Part of human life is facing disappointment, difficult situations, illness, aging, and changing financial situations. How we deal with these difficult situations will determine the course of our relationships and lives in the future.

Pain tells us that something inside is out of balance, encouraging us to change our behavior and find a positive solution.

Through practicing meditation, creative thinking, and being with supportive friends, we can learn to view pain as a powerful spiritual guide encouraging us to follow a spiritual path to peace and balance.

Taught by Resident Teacher, Gen Tenzin. No cost. Everyone is welcome.

Gen Tenzin is a Buddhist monk of over 20 years and has taught Kadampa Buddhism extensively for over 21 years throughout the United States. As a senior Kadampa student and teacher, he is a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

As the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Philadelphia, Gen Tenzin teaches Teacher Training Program, Foundation Program, General Program classes, day courses, and leads retreats. He also grants Tantric initiations.
