      EVENT DETAILS
ITS OK TO WALK AWAY & LIVE ANOTHER DAY

This is more than just another event to bring awareness to our community about the tragedies that gun violence is bringing to the city of brotherly love. This is a campaign to save the lives of our young men and women.            #WEWANT2LIVEPHL is a scream that is louder than the mountains and our adolescents are the very ones screaming WE WANT 2 LIVE  This is part two of a series of community events geared to Engage, Educate, Empower, & Enlighten inner-city youth who have sadly waged war against one another.  There aren't many myths about what can happen to you while you're out here playing in these streets. As blacks and Latinos, many of us face stereotypes as soon as we walk outside the door and what's sadder than that is we're seen as enemies by our very own kind. This wave of black on black crime is brutal and is taking a toll on the community and ripping families apart and creating hatred amongst strangers.  We are the community and our philosophy is that in order to destroy the monster, you must attack it from the belly of the beast. Follow us into the TRENCHES as we facilitate raw & uncut conversations hosted by two phenomenal mothers who have both lost there sons to the horrors gun violence. We will sit down with juvenile lifers that will tell all of how that one bad decision ruined their life, yet have been given a second chance at life. Come build with a panel of men and women that are trying to change the community. Saturday, April 2019 we will host our 2nd, " It's ok to Walk Away & Live Another Day" Stop the Violence Campain to live another day. #WEWANT2LIVEPHL This panel will address issues like Trapping, Sex Trafficking, Drug Addiction, Murder, Domestic Violence, Mental Health and so much more. What comes from the heart reaches the heart so the conversation is geared to be uncensored, we cant filter feelings. We want questions answered and action taken. Let's SAVE OUR MEN AND BOYS OF COLOR!!! bringing to the city of brotherly love.
