      MLK: An Interfaith Commemoration and Conversation in Social Justice

      Join us for an Interfaith Commemoration and Conversation in Social Justice honoring the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This event will feature a conversation with the Reverend Dr. William J. Barber, II and Dr. Camille Z. Charles. There will also be musical entertainment and the presentation of the MLK Community Involvement Awards. The Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II is the president and senior lecturer of Repairers of the Breach. An author, preacher, and professor, he is the chief architect of the "Forward Together Moral Movement." This event is free and open to the public; however, registration is requested. Please plan to arrive early as registering does not guarantee you a seat. Seating is first come, first served. This event is presented in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania's Office of the Chaplain, Office of the President, Center for Africana Studies, Annenberg School for Communication, MLK Executive Committee, the African-American Resource Center and the Black Alumni Society .   If you need reasonable accommodations, please provide at least 5 days’ notice.
