      Saving Our Bees and What You Can Do to Help!

      Learn everything you need to know about honey bees to assure their survival at this workshop. Discover what you can do to help these important insects. See a LIVE hive on display (weather permitting). Buy local honey from our own hives too! The mansion is open for guided tours. Location: Classroom Bldg.
      All ages; free, suggested donation $2 per person.

      Pennypacker Mills is the home of Pennsylvania Governor Samuel W. Pennypacker (1903-1907) and his family. Set on 170-acres of bucolic farmland, the mansion is completely furnished and houses an extensive collection of official and personal artifacts of the Pennypacker family. Operated by the County of Montgomery, the site is open year-round for guided tours, seasonal events, educational programs, changing exhibits, and special programs. Closed Mondays, County Holidays, Independence Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day & Eve and New Year’s Eve & Day. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm; & Sunday, 1 to 4 pm.

      Cost: Free - Suggested donation $2/person
