Continued Support from SponsorsFounding Sponsors New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Co. and the NJ State Council on the Arts are partners with TDA in presenting the music series for the fifth year. As part of its efforts to engage the community, TDA also recognizes a local arts and cultural organization at each concert for their contributions in support of the city’s efforts in making Trenton a great place to live, work and visit. “Entering into our fifth year of this music series is incredible,” commented Willard Stanback, TDA Board Chair. “The Trenton Area music lovers have demonstrated their appreciation for music in our outdoor venues. Like the other cities receiving the Levitt AMP Trenton Music Series Grant, we believe Trenton is deserving of this continuing (continual?) opportunity to bring high quality concerts - free of charge - to our proud and loyal community.” A Call for Volunteers TDA seeks volunteers to support the operation and promotion of this fantastic community event. Volunteer duties include greeters, working informative tables, social media “photo booth” management and assisting artists and production tasks. TDA submitted the grant proposal and is presenting the concert series. In an effort to inspire and engage communities across the country around the power of creative placemaking, the Levitt Foundation invited the public to choose the Top 25 finalists through online voting. Of those 18 cities, three cities were awarded a multi-year commitment to fund the Series until 2021 by the Levitt Foundation and Trenton was one of them. This is the fifth consecutive year that Trenton qualified for a grant from the foundation. You can learn more about the series http://www.levittamp.org. See Less
